Buy a SimSIM plan

Buying a plan takes a few taps: 1. Open Shop. 2. Search for your country, city, or region. 3. Open a plan and review its data, validity, included destinations, networks, and price. 4. Continue to checkout and confirm that your device is compatible and carrier-unlocked. 5. Review the total and complete payment. After payment, the order appears in My eSIMs. Open it there to install the eSIM and view its details. 💡 Tip: Check device compatibility and the plan's coverage before you pay. The plan's own details are the source of truth for included countries and validity.

Manage an eSIM

Open an eSIM from My eSIMs to see its status, remaining data, validity, network, package details, and available actions. eSIM statuses | Status | Meaning | | --- | --- | | Ready to install | The profile is available but has not been installed on a device. | | Connected | The profile is installed and active. | | eSIM turned off | The profile is installed but disabled in device settings. | | Data used | The package has no remaining data. Top-up availability depends on the plan. | | Expired | The package validity ended. Buy a new eSIM to continue. | | Suspended | The network provider paused the profile. Contact support. | | Unavailable | The profile was cancelled or revoked and cannot be used. | You can rename an eSIM, copy its ICCID, open package details, contact support, and archive terminal eSIMs when those actions are available. ⚠️ Warning: Do not delete an active or suspended eSIM from your phone. Reinstalling a deleted profile may not be possible.

Top up your data

When an eSIM supports top-ups, you can add data to the same profile from its details screen. Steps 1. Open My eSIMs. 2. Open the eSIM you want to top up. 3. Tap Top up data or Add data. 4. Choose an available top-up package. 5. Apply SimSIM Coins if you want to use them. 6. Review the price and complete payment. The app updates the eSIM after the order is processed. If the plan does not support top-ups, buy a new plan instead. An expired eSIM cannot be topped up. If the balance does not update, reopen the app and check the eSIM details again. For persistent issues, use Troubleshooting.

Manage your data

Open an active eSIM to see Data left and Time left. The eSIM details screen also shows the network and package information. Usage updates Usage is reported by the network provider and may lag behind actual usage. A short delay does not necessarily mean that the eSIM is not working. When data runs out The app marks the eSIM as Data used. If top-up is available, use Top up data on the eSIM details screen. Otherwise, buy a new plan. Reduce data usage - Download maps and media over Wi-Fi. - Turn off background refresh for data-heavy apps. - Use data-saving settings for video and social apps. - Keep your home SIM from becoming the active data line. See Notifications to learn about low-data and expiry alerts.

Data and expiry notifications

SimSIM can notify you about events that affect your connection, including low data and an upcoming package expiry. Enable alerts When the app asks for notification permission, choose Turn on if you want alerts. You can also open your phone's notification settings from the eSIM details screen. Alert types - Low-data alerts when your remaining data reaches a provider-reported threshold. - Out-of-data alerts when the package has no remaining data. - Expiry alerts when the package is close to ending. - Connection status updates when the eSIM becomes active, when supported. Provider usage data can be delayed. Notifications are helpful reminders, not a real-time usage meter. If you do not receive an alert, check that SimSIM notifications are allowed in your phone settings and that the eSIM is linked to your account.
